‘Life as a Jigsaw Puzzle is a wonderful little book that will make you think about your life, and how you treat yourself and others. It’s not a handbook that will tell you everything there is to know about personal growth; it’s about love and kindness, and how we all have the power to make the world a better place. You don’t need to have experienced trauma to get something out of it – everyone can find inspiration from Hanh’s journey of self-discovery and embark on one of their own. Highly recommended.’
– Michelle Higgs, author of multiple books on British history.
If you were to see your life as a jigsaw puzzle made up of billions of pieces, each representing a decision you made or an action you took, how would you want it to look?
And if your individual jigsaw puzzle was part of a collective universal one, made up of those of every person on our planet, what final picture would you curate?
In February 2020, three weeks before Lockdown 1.0 in the UK, Hanh faced adversity with the traumatic discovery of her husband’s affair which ended their marriage. What started as a quest to heal her broken heart quickly turned into an expedition of knowledge-seeking and self-discovery. Three years on that journey culminated in the creation of this book, a little book about love.
In this deeply heartfelt and thought-provoking personal account, Hanh shares how the power of love and forgiveness enabled her to transform personal adversity into personal strength and inner growth. She also imparts powerful insights from the realms of psychology and neuroscience that she learnt during her healing and personal growth journey.
In authentically telling her story and sharing her knowledge, she aims to inspire and empower others to realise how much agency we all have over our own thoughts and emotions and hence our lives and challenges. And she invites and encourages the reader to contemplate their own jigsaw puzzle along the way.
This book was written with the full permission and support of Hanh’s ex-husband.
